Here are the moments where words ran out and awe took over.

Step beyond the rim and into the chiseled depths of the canyon where stone, sky, and water shape every sense of scale and color. This photo journey reveals the Grand Canyon as an ever-changing world of shadow, light, texture and time. Though it is impossible to capture the untamed spirit of the canyon on film, I did my best.

Along the river, up side canyons, into waterfalls, may these images grace you with even a moment of the continuous wonder we experienced down in the belly of grandmother canyon.

Below is a photo journal of my trip, curated especially for paid subscribers. I put extra intention into the captions and stories, like a guided walk through the experience. Thanks for supporting this journey and for valuing deeper, more personal storytelling. Enjoy the view, and feel free to share your thoughts or questions in the comments.

If you haven’t already, find a supplementary essay about the trip here.
