I’ve written a bit about our belief in the importance of decentralized systems and I’ve become fascinated in recent months by prediction markets. They’re often derided as a form of unfettered gambling (there’s obviously some truth there), but that’s not the whole story. As these markets have become more popular and widespread, they’ve also become a powerful source of intelligence that is uniquely decentralized and transparent.
So I’m combining my background in journalism with this powerful new tool (and some assistance from a bunch of code and AI to parse through tens of thousands of markets) to launch Low Pass, a weekly newsletter that sums up what people - as a whole - truly think will happen next in the world.
